maier plastics

Hey guys
got some  new maier plastics for a 81 450 cr resto that Im doing off evil bay US, but they are a darker red more like the fighting red of a 88 cr.
has any one come across this? Whats the go did I get ripped, are they like factory seconds or just a bad colour match

Yep, Maier have the colours all mixed up, why they do this I'll never know , just the way it is.
I'd say someone had ordered them in Red(2) and then realised they were the wrong colour and they needed Fighting Red (12) and thats why they ended up on ebay,for reference below is how to work it out, if you buy from us we have already done that.. ;)

Maier Orange (7) = Honda Flash Red

Maier Fighting Red (12) = Honda Tahitian Red

Maier Red (2) = Honda Fighting Red

Maier Explosion Red (16) = Honda Nuclear Red

looks like I will have paint the rest of the bike to match the plastic colour, its going to be a race bike anyway
