If anyone is interested I am building a pretty kool 490 Maico for sale. I have a guy who is shipping some bikes to OZ in Feb or there abouts and says he can get it to OZ for about $800. I will be asking $4500 usd it has a clear title and the details are as follows. It is a 1982 490 Maico professionally converted to be a twin shocker by me. It comes with one of my alloy swing arm, a good set of Works Performance shocks. New Maico HEAD Racing set cover, 1979 Maico alloy tank with KLP/maico head racing grafix, KLP reed valved cylinder on fresh bore, motor has been gone through and freshened up with new seals and bearing where needed. The frame is powder coated silver, the plastic is all new yellow and the wheels were unlaced, hubs have been powder coated and relaced. The pipe is in good condition with now dents.
