ProForm pipes look the goods and are supposed to work well but I would have to stress to use the a bit of the ole "Caveat Emptor" with these pipes. I can't speak on this particular seller but earlier this year I had a great deal of trouble and stress with a US merchant (ams) that resulted in a 4 month wait on a pipe and silencer for my YZ125G. My particular retailer always claimed to be the 'victim' in this case (when he evetually bothered to reply to me) claiming that the manufacturer kept telling porkies about availability. When I eventually got it there was no silencer, which evetually turned up a few weeks later. The spring hanger was welded in the wrong spot and has to be ground off and repositioned. Good thing is that I got a partial refund to cover the repair.

I guess that everyone has different experiences good and bad with suppliers and in this case I had a shocker. So I'd be dealing with one that has them in stock before handing over my reddies.

I have used Pro Forms and while they are good, they don't always fit quite right and may need to be tweaked here & there. The supplier I was getting them from no longer offers them as the supply time from the manufacturer always varied (never 3 weeks) and sometimes didn't even eventuate. He got tired of getting stuffed around and in turn stuffing his customers around, hope these people don't have the same issues.

I bought a used Pro-Form YZ360A pipe from a bloke on Marks Swapmeet and it fitted the RT1 360 PP engine in my Cheney like it was meant to be there (with a minor oxy jiggle on the stinger). I didn't want a segment welded pipe on the bike to keep the period integrity thing alive. I reckon it fitted in well.

Proform is 1 guy making pipes, he's always 3 to 4 months behind. There not the prettiest looking pipes but the one on my YZ250A works really well.
