clearances are all spot on and it slips straight in without having to take the sidecovers off bolts to the same bracket as stock and to the frame using the stock figure 8 bracket thingy and sounds great maybe I will get another one down the track Geoff too thanks Michael.

no I wont smash the pipe the guards are f/glass doesn't take too much to damage them and yes it is a bit dirty I need to get a pressure washer people get shitty if they see you washing a car or bike in the driveway with a hose.

Thanks Michael
The dirty bike only enhances the pipe more ;D

I thought I did a better job of washing your bike or is that you other one?

Geoff it is one of the 4 400's ;) one of the two 1980 T's the one you were working on though was my 400x but I pulled the top end off that saturday to inspect and it is all good but the one it is pictured on is my first PE.

I have a PE250b project too and I don't have a pipe for that I split the crank cases yesterday and I will replace some stuff in there.

I took the 400 with your pipe around the front yard though riping the lawn up mum hasn't noticed yet, it was not much louder than the stock pipe and it sat there idling well and seemed to rev cleanly I think it will be a very good pipe I will give you more of a review when I take it for a big ride.

I also have a PE175n but I don't know if i will do that up yet maybe later. ;)

ohh yea, that pipe is right up my alley. i got a 400T myself. new to this site an half hour in an it looks like i found a new way to kill time... slowly making my old girl mine. just rebuilt some RM shocks for it. next will be the front shocks. some nice new wheels, tyres n brakes an then after that id like to get a custom pipe an silencer made for her. have you opened her up yet? notice any difference. i wouldnt mind giving mine a better mid to top end. not that she needs it as you would know but more power is always good to keep on tap.

I am testing it out this weekend it sounds alot better and I suspect my stock muffler was blocked because I couldn't ever stop the oil coming out I will take my helmet cam and do see how it goes.

I must admit I didn't think I'd notice a big difference from Stock but it definetly ran better quicker to jump straight back on the power and it sounded very nice not to loud as well so very happy with it I would consider getting another one down the track too for my other 400's thanks Michael. :)
