Cappra 414vg levers

Hi all, Can anyone tell me the original and correct brake/clutch levers for the 414VG ??

Same Amal lever assemblies used since 1973, only they were anodized black that year.

Hi have not been on here for a while injury's and other problems have been in the way.But yes all of my 414vgs had black amal levers but i have put new dogleg levers on them now, clutch is a bit stiffer to pull in but then again i have allways put stiffer clutch springs in the clutch,why i dont know realy it all started back in 1974 with my first cappra 250 i went to get new springs from local mont dealer who only supplied these stiffer springs can't remember if they came in a montesa packet or not but when he closed down i purchased a lot of his stock so had a lot of these springs to do all my other bikes,have not got any left now so my latest projects will have normal springs in oh and the only time i have known a mont clutch to slip was on my friends cappra 414 ve the plates had burred over on the locating fingers so stoping them coming together corectly remedy take them out and file level worked perfect again.

So, you are saying they were all black amals on the 414's Montman??

No as far as i can remember it was only the vg's that had black i say remember because i have photo's of my 414ve taken in 1979 with 1 black and 1 plain alloy colour and i can not remember which one i changed and factory photos show only vg's with black.
