2010 MXoN
« on: September 22, 2010, 12:57:12 am »
is Metty our best chance?
he's in good form and gave Dungey some pretty solid heat in the last few rounds of the AMA nationals but as we all know, he's yet to crack that "WIN"!
USA will be hard to beat as always. i'm hoping Cairoli and Dungey go at it both moto's with Metcalf stalking.
not long to go now... :)

No!
#19 Brett Metcalfe     MX1  Honda 450
#20 Dean Ferris         MX2 Honda 250
#21 Jay Marmont       Open Yamaha 450
Team Manager  Gary Benn.
new ruling this year i think is that the MX2 rider needs to be under 21yrs of age but i'll stand corrected should i be wrong.

USA wins again [ho hum  ???] Just snuck home again - another 12 months of hearing how wonderful they are.  ;)

Aussies finished 6th. Metty 3rd overall in MX1   :D  Great way to finish a stellar year. Good to see what he can do on a good bike with no injuries. Bring on 2011!!!

Townley had a great moto win for the Kiwis.  :D  The comeback continues!!!!!

Prior to the event Cairoli suggested that the MX2 riders were better than the US Lites guys. USA in uproar [how surprising]!!! Unfortunately Roczen and his mates proved Antonio correct - not that it will appear in the US press.   ::)

At least Mark Webber extended his points lead…

They were always going to be hard to beat on home turf  ::)
I wonder how sucsessfull they would have been at MXON over the years without R Decoster steering them  ???

Ken Roczen is a true natural talent , the krauts could have taken the win if nagal and his mate stepped up  ;D

Townleys pass on Short in the first moto was awesome , old mate sat in the middle of the track looking like he had been hit by a train  ;D
to his credit he got back on and finished mid pack.

Townley should go back to GPs he still has a few world titles left in him yet  ;)

Dungey is very fast in the US but i wonder how he would go in the deep sand of Lommel or Valkenswald  ;)

Metty has really lifted his game this year , and i believe he would have been best Aussie even if Chad had got a leave pass  :)
