Husky Footpegs

Would anyone be good enough to offer a suggestion for a replacement for the stock footpegs on a '74 250CR?
I don't want the massive, modern pegs, just something that slightly bigger and more secure than the stock items.
Thanks.  ;D

You can get U shaped weld on serrations that slip over the existing peg.  Another option is these from Husky Junk http://www.huskyjunk.com/ims-foot-pegs.htm that will bolt straight on. Also check out http://www.husqvarna-parts.com/catalog/item/3736740/3373270.htm Husky Products reproductions.

Thanks for that. The 'Works Style' ones look just right, but they apparently don't fit '71 models or the '74 250 Mag. Which is what I want them for.........  ::)
Anyone know what the difference is and why they won't fit?

Hey Tony

Works pegs are no good for that model.

The platform for the foot is the wrong angle and very dangerous.

I rather like the standard pegs on the MAG , but having said that i did send a set to Geoff Morris to modify and they were excellent.

Thanks Shoey, I did email Geoff this morning to see what he can do for me.
But he's probably out lunching with some big bucks clients. No doubt I'll hear from him soon.  ;)

These are beautifully made, stainless jobbies.

Send a note to http://hva-factory.com/index.php to see if they will work for you.....

Thanks for all the input fellas.
I ended up getting Geoff Morris to modify the stock pegs for me.
I haven't ridden with them yet, but he certainly did a fine job for a great price too!  ;D
