I'd assume that it's a 400 version of a Falta barrel....i.e. '75 model. Victorian Tim Embleton raced a '74 380 CZ with what I was told was a 'works' centre port barrel. He sometimes lurks this forum so maybe he or Drakey can fill us in on this CZs legality. My money's on it being off a '75 + model

Joe is saying that the cylinder has been modified to be centre port, to fit the frame.  It was sideport originally and perfectly pre '75 legal.

I could be wrong but it looks they have made a manifold that straightens up the exhaust port, wouldn't be too hard to do something similar

all that work in making the reed valve when in 1974 you could buy 1 from d&h in ca.i have one at home fully rebuilt it is in v format ie 2 hodaka reed vales in 1 manifold side by side,its made for 400 czs.
