does anyone make a vb250/360 or vf250 expansion chamber or does anyone have one in good nick

Overlander motorcycle equipment. down in warnambool.They make stainless steel exhausts for lot of bikes.paul.

Yes I've made one, would need the bike with springs out of the forks.

does welding a pipe on the bike stuff the bearings in the motor...thats whats got me worried

Pipe is not welded on the bike, that's just for fitment. The 15 or Amps wouldn't weld a bearing anyway, so you can sleep sound tonight
