rear monoshock rebuild
« on: August 07, 2010, 02:28:45 pm »
gday.

I am needing my yz125x monoshock rebuilt.
The shaft has some pretty bad corrosion on it, as you can see in the pictures.

I have had a read on here and it seems rad shock repairs, and a few other companies come reccomended.

But i just thought before i go ringing around on monday, someone on here might be able to tell me if im wasting my time with this one, is that shaft repairable?
If its not, can a replacement be sourced?

i have a monoshock off a yz C, but its 30mm shorter and id really like to use the longer X item.
any other information would be much appreicated.

thanks

steve.
