I know there's not really a 'rare' production Suzuki dirt bike (correct me if I'm wrong) but in the last 5 years of searching for parts for my stable I have found the bike that there is least parts and bike is the 84 RM500. Doing daily ebay searches, there are always lots of TM parts, RM parts, lots of RM400 parts (which has been great) but I rarely see RM500D/E parts. Even the 465 bits are scarce compared to the other stuff. Was there just not alot made?

Got everything I need  I actually put a wanted ad in the free local trader ad and a guy 2km from my place had a heap of parts for $100! Couldn't believe my luck.
