Does anyone know where the heck the cdi box hides on a 1985 FA50 scooter
All the parts listings show it under the seat but in looking it's simply not there. The coil only has 1 power wire going to it (as well as an earth), is it possible the CDI unit is incorporated in the coil even though it only has 1 (yellow) power wire?? I'm at a total loss as 'all' the parts books and service manuals show a separate cdi unit. Nothing is mentioned anywhere that states otherwise or lists any changes between models. There are no disconnected wires anywhere and the stator wires run to the ignition switch plug then back out into the main loom. I just can't figure it out for the life of me
