Spark Plug Lead 83 CR250
« on: July 23, 2010, 03:23:17 am »
as usual I am at work chasing parts and not near my beastie.  Can any of the Honda gurus tell me if the spark plug lead on the 83 250 is integral with the CDi or a separate part?

hey rossco, have a look on the bikebandit website for the parts diagrams, but it looks like it's part of the coil unit to me

They are pretty well all like that. One of the wholesalers (MCS?) sells a coil that will replace it.

thanks guys - I saw a CDI that looked like the HT lead was one of those twist and insert couplings but the parts book I saw seemed to list it as one also.  I have a lead on it's way out but CDi seems OK - what a bugger.
