This is the last response I got from Brad Ormesher who is the son of Harry Ormesher who was the photgrapher on this trip. I managed to track him down in the UK as he is a freelance Photographer.
"Alex, I have spoken to my Dad, unfortunately he does not have a copy of the film, he did however say Volvo trucks were a huge sponsor and they may have one, also there is a guy mentioned in the article ( i cannot read it from the internet ) who was riding the bike on the emu picture who worked for channel 4 in the U.K. and they did the filming and showed it in the U.K. "
The film was called : (Across Australia for $20000 PE250 Suzuki Challenge 1977)..........there is nothing on Youtube or Google video so the film is rare. The magazine articles were up on the VMX Suzuki Central website at one time.
I will try to look down the Volvo route and Channel 4 UK if they might have something in archives.........
