maybe its used a  bush basher and not actually raced in MX. If i had one i think i would not want to ride in anywhere near any trees to even need handguards. I think an open paddock is the only safe place to jump on one of those ;)

Ahh yes thats a good point. I just hope that when Frosty finally gets one that there is A) an audience and B) a film crew, ready and waiting for his first ride :D

Oh don't worry I am going to get one I don't have any room at the moment though and apperantly all my bikes have to be out of the shed soon not that they will be leaving for good. I am tipping late this year or sometime next year I will get one will have to wait and see and get a few other bikes done and out of the way.

FOR SALE
Ad # 3154782   June 18, 2010
1971 Suzuki TM400 Cyclone

$3200.00, OBO

This bike runs and shifts great.

Frame and engine serial numbers match, 13453.

The bike had a frame kit installed when I purchased it. Whoever did it, did a professional job.

It has stock ignition and flywheel installed, but comes with heavier flywheel. Both the flywheel and frame kit were popular modifications in the day, because of the bikes reputation. The same reputation is what makes this bike so collectable today.

The top end has been completely rebuilt, and the engine has new gaskits and seals.

Every nut, bolt and washer has been polished.

The bike has new grips, tires, swing arm bushings, steering races and bearings, front and rear fenders and pipe.

The gas tank has two small dents in the right side. The engine has been converted to pre-mix fuel. An OEM plate has been installed over the oil pump hole. It still has the oil tank on it, and it is in new condition. It could be converted back to injection with no problems.

I have a lot more photos available upon request.
Thanks.
