I'm thinking that the rear brake arm came of my old bike cos of the holes I drilled in it.   :D

if this is how you got it it looks like a good starting point.

good looking bike these and seems like a lot of them been restored in Oz over the last 5 years.

Hi Guys
this is how I bought it, It got some fire damage wich is hidden by tank. Just finshed stripping frame ready for sand blasting and paint. Can't decide wether to bling it up or do as standard. Will keep posted if your intersested
ps I'll try make images smaller and have posted more pix on photobucket

Looks good, I have a '84' frame that I hope to paint soon and I can't deside on green or black, my current bike has a green frame but black would be good too especially if I powder coat.
 Did you check that your linkage pivot wasn't flogged out (elongated holes) which is a common problem.
83 KX500, 83 RM250D, Can Am MX2.

hi firekwaka & frostype, pivot points look fine, got the son to check he's a motor cycle mechanic. was really lucky with this frame appears to be low hour.thought long and hard about what color to paint frame but i've got 83 gold wheels and swing arm and just decided to bling this bike. to please me.its not gonna be a garage princess got one of those (Maico) plan on using for a bit dirt tracking.  ps not a fan of powder coat and if you want to paint i,m a painter in Sydney and could help
