coincidence.
« on: June 04, 2010, 09:57:52 am »
First Bruce 'Magoo' McFarlane sadly passes away after a short illness. A couple of months later the legendary Danny 'Magoo' Chandler dies after a long battle. Then to top it off, a couple of weeks ago GP star Andrew 'Sharkey' McFarlane dies in a crash.
Please discuss 'weird' and 'coincidence' in regard to these three sad occurrences.  :o

Hopefully for the dirt riding community, this is the end of the "three event" sequence.  :o

And both magoo's were born within 4 moths of each other, and Bruce McFarland died only about a week from his birthday as to did Andrew McFarlane..

Yer, it is just straight out bizarre how we get clusters of these tragic happenings. The numerologists and other border-line believers might say there is some cosmic influence on all this - I have got no idea!
It has made me take stock and reflect on some close calls and divine intervention in my life. All those men were great in many ways and didn't deserve the hand dealt to them. It's a bloody tenuous grip we on this thing we call life.
