Fuel Taps
« on: May 31, 2010, 01:02:12 pm »
On my project RM175 the fuel tap outlet comes close to the head fins.
The RM tap outlet is straight down, what other Suzuki taps bolt straight on but have the outlet at right angle facing the back?
My fuel line at the moment is almost between 2 fins but hasn't shown any signs of rubbing/heat damage but i want to play it safe in the bush.
I have tried a YZ80 tap which can be made to fit but what you gain in being right angled you lose in the length of the tap hitting the fins.
Any idea's?? i want a direct fit and don't want to muck around with modified o rings or seals.
cheers....Mario

PS if any of the trail bikes eg DR etc are r/angled and if it has a res/off/on would be even better!
