In this era there was also the French version the 'Guidon Dor' or Golden Handlebar, factories took that one prety seriously also, All the GP riders turned up but had to work hard to beat Jean Michel Bayle IIRC.
That's the first footage(apart from kiddie stuff) of Wayne on a dirt bike I've seen.
