Pursang rearbrake conversion

Hello.
I have a 73/74 250 Pursang. The one with the rearbrake on the left side of the rearwheel. I now have a leftsideshift engine in it and want to move the brakepedal to the right. On the frame there's a pivotaxle for the pedal on each side, so I got a pedal from a later model wich fitted nice on the right side.
So, since the frame is made with the rightside option, how was the action transfered from the pedal to the wheel? Was it a kit from Bultaco? Does anyone know how it should look? Or has anyone another neat way to do it?

I have been thinking about using a wire as I don't want to change to a newer 75 rearwheel.

Use a cable its a fairly simple mod

I ment cable when I wrote wire.
But does anyone have pics or kow of an elegant way to fasten the hose/rout the cable etc. ?

Look closely at a Mk9 pursang setup - they had cable operated rear brake. It looped up over behind the carb & in front of the airbox.

But mine never worked very well - even when you stood on the pedal the brake didn't slow you down much & it had a very spongy feel. And the tests of the day said similar. However others said there's worked OK. Mine had std Bul brake shoes which were quite hard, & std Bul cable.

Need a good strong cable & soft shoes
