Dave Mac, the key is to have your hubs trued. This is best done disassembled, but some can put your assmebled wheel on a mill-and machine absolutley round.
Then, use the stock factory shoes, have them trued as well if possible. Periodically, remove the wheel, sand the high spots with #180 grit paper.After once or twice, you will have a one finger stopper.
BTW I found only the Magura perch and lever pulled enough cable to operate the Maico clutch. I use the Terrycables, but will try the Venhill cables( from Canadian Maico) next time.
For your Husky, find a CZ guy who has had shoes relined. If you can send to US try Matt Hillenberg at Speed& Sport. A friend had his CZ shoes re lined by them and they work great.
