Wheelie King Doug Domokos

Never been a balance wheelie dude but more of a power stand rider. Found most wheelie riders were pit racers but I loved this rider’s stunts.

He was the coolest. He came to the Brisbane entertainment centre one year and wheelied around the whole supercross track

A gun for sure. Did the same thing around the full track at the Sydney Showground for Australia's first supercross, riding a KLX 250 with an electric motor in the front wheel for gyro effect. Also wheelied a Z1300 across the Sydney harbour bridge for pre-event publicity, and trashed the big Z's back guard in wheelying outside the showground before the race. Impressed !!  :o
Nostalgia's not what it used to be....

I think we were all impressed by this bloke back in the day.
I understand his continuous wheelie record was 145 miles!

Apparently he died aged 44 in an ultralight prang when a wing tore the fabric during a turn - plane speared in from 700 feet up. :(

Wow impressive 145miles :o I can do as long as I like on my mountain bike but haven't had enough practice on my PE's.
