Work Stand
« on: April 15, 2010, 07:46:10 am »
There was a thread on work stands a little while ago (and I can't find it ::)).

Here's another contribution from Scott of VMX plastics blog.....

Very model specific and rather involved but I think worth while for a resto.

Neat unit, but you still need to lift the bike on to it., l would like to buy a hydrolic bike stand about 450 dollars, you see them in just bikes magazine.

Bloody Mainline has been deleting threads again   >:( ;D

I like that - as you say resto specific, but a great idea  8)

The only triple jumps he would have been doing are the hop, skip & jump.

Model Engineers Workshop had plans for a works stand there was a 500kg floorjack a formply/mdf base and about $50 worth of RHS. My mate made one and it works a treat. I'll see if I an get the plans off him and post them up
