Rickman Yamaha DT1 Very rare with extras

Hello, My name is Chuck Davis and have restored and sold many vintage bikes through the ebay system. Please take a look at my 100 percent feedback as a seller.  I am very honest, have had many happy buyers and have no intentions of misleading anyone. I do my best on the descriptions and show many pictures.

This bike is a Very Rare Rickman Yamaha Dt1. I have been told they made 22 total of these bikes. (10 complete bikes and 12 kit bikes, I am not positive but believe this bike is number 10 (VIN Number 4  10   J) and I think this was one of the kit bikes. This bike was in ok shape, but needed work and I have made some minor changes. Please review description, take a close look at all my pictures and feel free to ask any questions.

Frame- stripped and re-nickle plated, repaired rear top motor mount, checked and serviced steering bearings and greased swing arm bushings. Repainted tripple clamps.

Forks inspected, cleaned and replaced oil and seals, Rear Shocks, Old school Yamaha Thermal Flow, painted, polished and re-plated springs. (One of the shocks has a slight oil film. I used these as display shocks only if you were going to ride the bike should they then be replaced with new shocks)

Wheels and Hubs- all Yamaha DT1 - front hub polished, new bearings, new rim, new spokes, new brakes, new Metzler Unicross tire with new rim strip and tube. Rear hub polished, new bearings, new rim, new spokes, new bearings, new Metzler Unicross tire with new rim strip amd tube.

New chain and sprockets.

Controls - re-Chromed Rickman Bars, all new Magura brake and clutch leaver systems, new Mugura trap door throttle control and new Magura grips, new kill switch, and all new Replacement Grey Yamaha Cables.

Body Work, all fiberglass cleaned repaired and professionally painted. Gas Tank has been sealed with KBS sealer, seat has new foam and custom cover, front number plate is new and steel. (I have a matching color High Mount front fender that goes with sale. I could not decide what one I liked better so have both.)

Engine- Dt1 Yamaha completly rebuilt with Factory GYT KIT Cylinder, Cylinder Head, Piston and Carburetor,(rebuilt with new parts) stock Rickman Air Box with new foam filter, all new bearings, seals, gaskets. Transmission inspected and in Excellent condition. Custom spacer plate with a YZ Clutch Cover, new clutch fiber plates. Bead blasted cases and painted covers. Stock Rickman Expansion Chamber Chromed and heat taped. New Points and tyming set @ .085 BTDC.

This bike has oil in the transmission, NO Gas has been put in this bike and has not been run. It will run, but most of the collectors do not run these bikes and do not want to deal with the gas smell.

Most all new nuts and bolts, all new rubber parts (air filter tube is not new and been repaired).

I think I have everything listed, hopefully you get the scope of this restoration.

No Title but bill of sale only. No shipping, but will work with your shipper for pick up. All bidders must have 10 positive feedbacks or contact me before bidding or I will cancil bids. Will accept checks, but all must clear before shipping or pick up. A Pay Pal $500.00 deposit required with-in 24 hours, full payment with-in 7 days and pick up with-in 30 days.

Thank You. Please contact me with any questions.

Best is in the West !!

Definitely a kit bike, a factory machine would have come with Rickman hubs and a proper Rickman pipe. It's a cool little bike though.
