KX Footpegs
« on: February 21, 2010, 06:56:44 pm »
Hi, has anyone got some advice on what "fat" pegs are close to fitting an 84 KX250?  I guess all early/mid 80's KX pegs are similar style. The 83/84 XR pegs look pretty close in the pics and you can get IMS Superstocks for that bike.  Any suggestions or recommendations?  thanks steve

I fitted late model KX85 footpegs to my KX250a5 , just had to grind the peg width where they mount down a bit - they were too wide . I would be trying late model KX footpegs - DRC is one brand who do them at very reasonable prices

Thanks for the info Geraldo. What pins/springs did you use with them? Do they have the spring internal to the peg or on the outside of the mount?

send your existing ones to GMC - Geoff Morris - makes wide pegs to your original mounts.  Great stuff!

cheers
