Nats entree fee
« on: March 06, 2010, 09:15:04 am »
The chat between the locals where I live and the Nat’s this year is the cost of the entree fee. While it’s a small cost in the cost of going it really has been a sticking point with a few who have decided to stay home just because this one expense has pissed them off.
MA why do National permits cost so much more than club day ones?
Surely those transponders have paid for themselves by now?
And before you say insurance why does it cost 10 X as much for a national than say an interclub MX with mini bikes which has simular rider numbers and classes?
Current bikes. KTM MC 250 77 Husky CR 360 77, Husky 82 420 Auto Bitsa XR 200 project. Dont need a pickle just need to ride my motorcickle

Good point . Up 20% from one year to the next at a time when some folks personal economies arent doing so well.

I agree the fee's are expensive but just because MA owns the track doesn't mean they shouldn't expect anything for it. It still needs to be maintained and it's existance justified.
Also the Preston club are running the event with MA's help. I believe it was Preston that put the fee's up due to some cost blow out, but I don't know what that was.

As a 3 day event ambulance fee's would be tripled.
