Doing some clean up work on an IT 175 frame and I'm not sure about this bracket.
It looks to be the area of where the muffler mount should be but it just doesn't look right.
I'm not sure if it's completely wrong or just half missing.
Can anyone supply a close up of this l/h rear part of the frame please?

Geoff what year model is that? If it's a G/H I can get a photo for you. I suspect not as the muffler mount is on the right on the G. On my G frame, that mount in your pic is for the left sidecover.

I assume the lower hole has a captive 8mm nut & the upper hole is "weight saving" ??
