XL250 skid plate?

Does anyone know if the slightly later XL350(76-78) skid plate will fit the earlier XL250 (72-75) frame?

found a skid plate,has 2 8mm bolt holes close together up front,the rears are vertical tabs for 6mm bolts,have both type of frames (centre/side port),buggered if i can see how it fits,duh!,i remember unbolting it off one of them ,neither frame has the rear mounts lugs??,thinking coulda been off the centreport 350 ,
