Hi
I like the idea of front and rear guards $99 in plastic, the fit nice and look right, the originals (CCM) are 3 times the price, ex Pomgolia , but the originals and the seat base are curved ,so the Yamaha rear guard and CCM seat junction is not compatable, well, not tidy. I borrowed a few yamaha seats and the MX , the 125 too narrow, is a perfect fit on the frame rails and cross braces , just a bit long .but lines up well with the flatter Yamaha rear guard.

G'day Jikov I'm building up a DT400 twin shock and found that a 1979 Honda CR seat fits okay but you might find the foam sits to high. jimson

Hi,
thanks for that info , I found out that the seat/ guard junction was too dissimilar,ie; YZ guards /MX seat, so I used a YZ seat to the same model YZ guards ,took a little f***ing around with the mountings, but looks a lot tidier than the originals, thanks again,
Happy Australia Day

Hi Jikov,

Did you end up getting a YZ-C seat?

Hi,
no the seat I used is a "G" , If you are looking for a YZ,125  seat, ring John Tate, John Tate Automotive , Coopers Plains
