i reckon the xt125 tank wouldn't just bolt up. if it cleared the frame size it wouldn't be hard to
weld a new mounting tab to make it fit. i dont think it would tho, they are about the same size as a dt175.

if you do get the 125 i'd probably buy the front end if it could be shipped to vic cheap enough.

 :)
Excellent fellas, thanks for the heads up all of you!
WE are not sure where it is in NSW and now its clear that it will be a beeaaatch to fit , lets move on to plan B ;)
TT5Matt I will be in touch re what you have shortly. I am glad the dude said "its the whole bike or nothing" to Kurt
so we could got the Aussy VMX family involved!

The bike was at the tip, Shes a beauty too, as many trips up and down the road have proven, with a sawn of coke bottle gas funnel
wired to the frame!, The wheels were shot so he found some of those, and has been muttering about getting a MIG welder to repair the
tank!!!
Thanks so much you guys!

As an aside,
I have just opened my new 36mm Mikuni carb (5 days from the States) for the PE400T "I love it when the dollar is right. $149 with jet kit.
The 79 Red Rocket is having a work over from front to back and bottom end to top end hopefully ready for Round 3 of the NZ VMX champs thats a little more costly!!! and chipping away at the 73/74 CR250M project.
Life is good, then you have to work to support the habit.Phil
