Magoo's Charity Ride
« on: March 29, 2012, 07:26:07 pm »
ok, it's on the 21 April, we will start at the Imbil showgrounds and go bush bashing for the day, $100 a head.
Coles Creek race day is the Sunday, so it's really easy for ya, come and enjoy the best trails and tracks in Aus and then camp at Coles overnight and go racing on the Sunday, Bill will be camping the night, so I'm sure the VB's will flow well into the night. If you want in, either let Bill or myself know, as start time at Imbil will 8am and you wont see us for dust, maybe mud if it dosnt stop raining, anyway, enough of my bullshit, get your bike out and come riding and have a beer and some fun for Magoo. ;D

Hey Trev.  Bit of a bummer about it being the same weekend as Coles Creek but I like your plan to work the two in together.  Unfortunately old mate Dave can't make it as he's going to Phuket the next week and doesn't want to risk forketing his holiday  ;D

But I'm in for sure.  For those of us heading to Coles Creek that night, have you thought about where we can store the race bikes etc whilst we are banging around in the bush?  Or are you proposing a ride during the day, home for a shower and load up then off to Coles Creek?

Hi all, please see Bills email as below regarding the ride, make sure you carry some morning smoko with you, and some money for fuel, at least a spare tube and some tools.
Any questions you can ring me on 0400 679 218, Cheers Trev

Hi T'Rev

Here's the info for the guys on the Magoo ride!

Please forward to all riders as it has all paperwork required by them.

Meeting at 7-7.30 for a 8.15 departure. Please express that, this is and
un-supported ride, all riders are to be "self sufficient" there will be
no support vehicle on tour!

We will be stopping at either Kenilworth or Imbil Pub for lunch, then do
another couple of hours riding and be back NLT 4 p.m.

After that let the bench racing begin!!!;-)

Big Bill.

last call for any more riders, currently about 16 of us and we are set to have a ball, its primo conditions from Imbil to Ammamore, so the loop will be awesome. The ride is only intermediate with plenty of great single lane, free flowing tracks, hell, if I can ride it, anyone can! All proceeds go to Anne and kids as allways, the impact Bruce had on all who met him in the VMX scene should not be forgotten, and this is our way of saying thanks for the memories. Rest in peace good freind.

So Trev .. are you going to provide a summary of the "event" .. how about 090's and Mikey's un-sychronised nose dives over the front in the creek ..  ;D

My face still has lashing from Lantana Love ... how's your neck healing up  ;D  But unlike some others (including you Trev  :P) I managed to back up today and ride at Coles Creek ... and it was a great day too.  Great weekend really  8)

But man am I feeling it tonight  :'(

yeah yeah Simo, no will to back up and ride Sunday, why would I when I ride tracks like that all weekend, and I was kind to you as well, ok possum :D
really the story of the day was no brakes, lets have a swimming lesson, nobody saw me do that 090 Brad, and if he can do that, I can too , Mike ( thats my boy)like sheep really, where one leads the others must follow as they go head first into the drink.
the only other story of the day is how slow the Hampster is getting ;D bring it on ;D

It was such a fun day, thanks guys. and I even had a VB at the end ;)

Cheers Worms, T'rev
