214-17411-11-00 Axle Main is common to both DT1, DT2 and DT3.

Most of the DT1 gears are listed on the DT2 microfiche as options.

The drive axle is a different part number but as most of the DT1 ratios are deemed optional on the DT2 microfiche, I can only assume that they fit.

Also, almost all of the washers, shims, bearings and spacers are common parts.

The only bearing that isn't common is at the other end of the drive axle from 2nd and 3rd gears so I reckon they'll fit.

Also the DT2MX axles are the same as DT2 and the DT1 3rd wheel gear is optional in the DT2MX microfiche.  So if the microfiche are to be believed, it would seem that the ratios are interchangable.

I don't know about RT1 but RT2/3 and DT2/3 use the same ratios.

RT2MX and DT2MX use the same ratios (which are not the same as DT2/3 and RT2/3).

RT2/3, DT2/3, RT2MX & DT2MX all have the same primary reduction ratio (65/21 - 3.095).

YZ250A/B uses the DT2/RT2 drive axle so the drive gears should fit.  It also has the same bearings and spacers and circlips on the main axle as the DT2/RT2 so I reckon the gears from YZ250A/B will also fit a DT2/3 (and therefore DT1).

I'm pretty certain the black tanked RT1MX had the same ratios as the later DT2/3MX.

The YZ a/b tranny goes into early DT1 easily. Need to use two shift forks from YZ or dt/rt2or3.
DT1 shift drum and fork work fine.
Will fit straight in to DT1-f and up.
Hope this helps.

I've got a DT2MX trans in my new RT1 engine and a YZA trans in my old DT1 race engine. The slip straight in.
