I had a KE175, I rebuilt about 7 years ago from a wreck but she was sold off for a miserable $350. I'd rate them right up there with the TS185..very very similar to ride ;)

Misfit, is yours the rotary valve model like Doc's or the later reed valve engine?

When I was a kid my dad had a 125. What a great bike. Went everywhere you wanted it to. Even with uni tyres on it. Some great memories chasing that bike on trails & in the scrube on my XR80 & later a YZ80

Misfit, I can't remember what year mine was but the tank was originally metallic blue (albeit scratched and dinged hence it was painted red as that's all I had at the time ;)) rear guard was a painted early KX80 item from memory the shocks were Marzocchi's fitted with lighter Mulholland Interpart springs and the tail light was an MCS 'TY1' or TY style item. Unfortunately this bike doesn't exist anymore, the engine went into some spastic minibike and the rest was tossed away :( a friend managed to salvage a few bits before it hit the dump and I still have these bits tucked away..the left sidecover and the airbox/battery box assy and a few small bits..small consolation from another bike I should never have sold ::)

if it was blue it was either a 77 or 78. green and orange were the only colours available in 76 (mines green!). yeah im chasing a different pair of shocks for mine. my sl125 has mulhollands, and if i were to fit them with progresive rate springs i think they would be great for the ke. also considerering ts185 shocks....
