Hmmm well we got 18HP on a true reading dyno...........with the rear brake jammed on. Went to 23HP with that fixed, (owner is a mechanic too ;D) and jetting miles out. With some dialing in at the track it started to really haul arse. Then the piston cried 'enough' so we were looking north of 25rwhp.That's also with a shit pipe (about 200mm to short) a shit straight line (fixed curve) ignition and very conservative disc timing. With those fixed hmmm I shouldn't say but probably well over 30HP if you used a decent piston.
Dos we used (as did Nitram many moons ago when he owned the said KH125) KT100 S and J kart rods with a Thompson big end cage , nothing ever looked like failing.

If it's a disc valve, 56  X 50mm bore/stroke and has an aluminium not a cast iron cylinder it will make that sort of HP. That's in a road race engine to but I could use the disc to pump the bottom end up.The KH 6 speed would probably drop in as a KX box goes into the KH no problems.

Trouble is, where talking about the earlier long-stroke F6 engine here. 52x58.8, rotary v/v, 5sp box (w wide ratios). Very different engine.

the F6 has the cast iron barrel and is quite different from the KX, KH and KE motor, near all parts will interchange on these models but precious little interchanges with the early F6 ;)

Yeh Doc, I've pondered over that one too. I think it's a KAH 125, which as you probably know was the works designation before SR. Hard to see if its double or single downtube frame but it looks single w side exh port. Probably its the fore-runner to the KX125.   I think the shot is from 73. I doubt very much its F6 based.

Interesting tho that one of my Kaw books lists an F6 available only in Jap w considerably closer gear ratios than std F6 - perhaps a home-market MX model.

Did you ever sort out that 125 barrel that you had a few years ago Doc which you tho't may have been an MX barrel for an F6 or earlier?
