Movie nite and show and shine
« on: December 02, 2009, 09:15:46 pm »
Movie nite (dirtbikes-no porn) at Gladysdale in the Yarra Valley (Victoria) Also very laid back show and not necassarily shiny for any sort of bikes. Free entry bring something to drink if you want. The idea is to get like minded people together for a bit of a chat and a laugh or whatever. Location "The Barra Shed" Kick off 7.30 pm Jerry

Sounds great Jerry - a bit more notice and it could've been a goer for me.

Sounds good Jerry but it's a bad time of year, for me anyway.
Was that you at Stony Creek?
I saw a boat tail in the distance but never got a chance to get up close.

Hi Geoff sorry about lack of notice it all has been disorganised in short timeframe. However we hope to do it on a monthly basis so there will be other opportunities. Speaking of Stoney Creek that was me sort of (well the same DNA anyway!) It was my son Joel (named after the great man) riding for me as I was injured that day. In between a few DNF'S he managed to win a race. I have to say it would not have been possible without the mighty GMC pipe you built for me. I'm hoping to ride as many VCM and CSC meets as I can in 2010 as well as the Nationals up at your place. It would be good to catch up then. Cheers Jerry

Dear Jerry
We receive with pleasure your application for sponsorship in the GMC race program; unfortunately all positions are currently filled.
However, we thank you for your application and encourage you to apply again in the future.

When I can think of something witty I am going to reply to your hurtful humour. Remember revenge is a dish best served cold. Oh and by the way last night went really well. About 20 bikes maybe 40 blokes a couple of quiet ones (beer that is) and then we watched STONE. quite possibly the worst movie I have ever seen. We hope to do it again next month. I will put a post up with plenty of notice. Jerry
