wanted side exh/port over 250 air cooled 2 stroke motor

wanted motor for my single down tube longtrack bike,thought of cutting frame but it is too rare a frame to cut up.almost bought a bully but wanted to be paid by western union money order so a 400.00 us gamble i was not going to take.
motors like
it/yz 465
rm 370/400
any thing not center port exhurst.

lozza i know but i would like a motor over 250cc.i have a mr250 side port elsinore motor.just keeping the cr250 stuff as spares for my cr250m

What ERA were you thinking of Jim?
An 80 81 PE 400 engine lays out a nice controlable spread of power to the ground, and is just begging to be developed ::)

Could stroke the 250 a bit Jim and see what pistons are out there,would 280cc be enough  for you? ;D ;D

that would be ok but i dont think the cr/mt box would handle the extra power
