eBay OSSA

How did this slip by? $760 for a rare as you know what OSSA Desert Phantom is the buy of the year. I'm cranky with myself as I'd been watching it and thought it'd go through the roof so didn't check on it. Bugger.

You snooze, you lose ;D. (haven't you heard of sniper services ;))

Don't worry Firko, you have enough to 'keep you off the streets' for a while ;D.

You're right of course Graeme...I've just come in from putting a lazy couple of hours in on my Cheney and with that, the Benelli, Maico Metisse, Antig slider, soon to arrive DT2MX  and the highly classified "project X" I wouldn't have been able to get to it for another decade!  ;D

He kinda fancies himself as some sort of OSSA genius eh? Nice bike though you're right, there'd have to be some de engineering to make it legal for our pre '78. At the risk of opening another can of worms....Jeez I wish people wouldn't use non period swingarms like that Novation thing.

Nice bikes those Phantoms.. forks look odd the way he's extended the top of the alloy lower legs.
Wasn't the GP2 the model Marty Moates rode?  What year is a GP3, is it pre '78 legal?

Its a shame he didn't have the support back when he raced, as according to himself that was the only difference between him and the likes of Marty Moates!  :-\
Good ebay seller i must say. I have bought a few things off him.
Also good to see him give a home to a cz250 magnessium port works thingy factory racer with a serial number 1 ( a grinder can do wonders) and an anti dive mud flap. ::)
