This might sound strange, ... but why one from the USA. There's no Suzuki dealers here that can get you one???

the cable is long discontinued Al. There is a chance some dealer somewhere may have one on the shelf but also a good chance it won't cost any less than the US item. There is also the possibility of remanufacturing the old cable but usually the outa is just as stuffed as the inner. Sometimes just paying the money and having it arrive on your doorstep a week or so later is the easiest option. I'd guess 90% of my bits come from the US as the local dealers simply cannot match the prices 'if' the parts do actually show as being available in oz.

Here is a list, that just can't be beaten by shopping out of USA  :o :o :o :o I was astounded at the price difference for a restoration of the retired father-in-laws.

I'm with doc, have generally found it a lot easier to get parts from the states than here.  have had dealers telling me they can get the stock then the price, well could buy a house with what they want
