ANNOUNCEMENT:
The BRISBANE MOTORCYCLE CLUB INC., hereafter called the PROMOTER will conduct THE QUEENSLAND CLASSIC SCRAMBLE CHAMPIONSHIPS at the BRISBANE SCRAMBLE TRACK, RAUBERS RD, NORTHGATE, on 18TH NOVEMBER 2007.
JURISDICTION:
2.1.   The above  mentioned meeting has been authorised by MOTORCYCLING QUEENSLAND who has issued the Motorcycling Australia Permit Number MQ  and is open to holders of current Motorcycling Australia National Competition Licences.
2.2.   The meeting will be held in accordance with the current General Competition Rules (GCR’s), these Supplementary Regulations, and any Final Instructions approved by Motorcycling Queensland
BY ENTERING THIS MEETING ALL PARTIES AGREE TO COMPLY WITH THESE RULES, REGULATIONS, BY-LAWS AND INSTRUCTIONS.
ENTRIES:
3.1.   Entries open forthwith and close last mail 9th  November 2007.
3.2.   In the case of postponement or abandonment of the meeting, all entry fees will be refunded.
3.3.   Only entries received on the official entry form will be accepted.

INSURANCE:
4.1.   National Personal Accident Scheme provides basic cover for death and permanent disability.
4.2.   Ambulance Insurance is compulsory for licensees.
4.3.   NB interstate riders – ambulance insurance is compulsory for licencees
4.4.        IT IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED THAT COMPETITORS GIVE CONSIDERATION TO TAKING OUT WEEKLY BENEFITS INSURANCE.
5.           MEDICAL SERVICES:
QAS and staff will be available from start of practice until the end of racing on the day.

6     ENTRY FEE:
6.1.   $70.00 entry first bike $10.00 per bike thereafter
6.2.   Payment by cash or cheque only.  ANY FEES FOR DISHONOURED CHEQUES WILL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE ENTRANT.
6.3.   Cheques and Money Orders are to be made payable to the Brisbane Motorcycle Club.

   8           AWARDS AND PRIZEMONEY:
        Medallions 1st, 2nd, 3rd in all classes.
    ENTRIES TO CONSTITUTE A CLASS:
9.1.   10 entries constitutes a Championship Medallion Class, 6 entries constitutes a Certificate Class. Should there be insufficient entries in any Class of Competition, the decision to run or cancel the Class, or to combine events and   
     re-distribute any awards will be at the discretion of the club subject to Motorcycling Queensland approval.
    MACHINES AND RIDERS:
10.1.      All machines entered must comply with the current GCR’s for Classic Motocross Competition.
10.2.      Multiple entry of the one Machine in the same Class of Competition is not permitted.
10.3.      Change of rider and machinery may be permitted if submitted in writing to the Clerk of Course and with the approval of the MA
              Steward at least 20 minutes prior to the start of the event in which the substitution is requested.  Substitute machine must have
              been passed at machine examination.  Failure of riders to follow this procedure may result in placings not being recorded.
   RIDING NUMBERS:
11.1.   Wherever possible, competitors will be allocated their Registered Riding Number or their preferred Riding Number.  All others will be allocated numbers at the Club’s discretion.
11.2.   All Number Plates on all Machines MUST comply with the GCR’s.
    RIDERS BRIEFING:
   A Riders Briefing will be held prior to the commencement of racing and ALL Competitors MUST attend the Riders Briefing. 
   13      DRUG AND OR ALCOHOL TESTING:


13.1   All competitors and officials are advised that as part of the MA drug education program, drug testing may take place at any competition in accordance with Australian Sports Commission policy as implemented by the Australian Sports Drug Agency.
13.2   If any doubts exist over banned substances it is recommended competitors telephone the Drugs in Sport Hotline 1800 020506.  When drug testing takes place, the payment of prize money may be delayed at MQ’s discretion until the results of the tests are known.
   For the purposes of drug & alcohol testing, the commencement of the meeting will be deemed to be 7.00am with the completion
   of the meeting for the participant being when the participant has vacated the venue.
   14        CODE OF CONDUCT:
   All Competitors, Officials and Parents are reminded of the Motorcycling Australia By-Law - CODE OF CONDUCT (as stipulated in    the GCR) which is a guide to appropriate behaviour at all Motorcycle Race Meetings.  This CODE OF CONDUCT applies to this    Meeting and will be enforced.
   15        TIMETABLE:
      Machinery   7.00am to 8.00am sharp – Includes time for riders to inspect the track by foot.         
      Riders Briefing   8.15am.
      Practice   8.30am to 9.00am               
         Racing    9.15am
     16        CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION:
   Approx 1 kilometre of natural terrain track.
   17       STARTS:
   Elastic band
  RACING:
     Races will be THREE (3) rounds of SIX (6) laps conditions and circumstances permitting with scoring as per the GCR.

19   Cars will not be allowed in the pits during practice or racing (please remove once bikes are unloaded)

great stuff Doc,
i called the club earlier in the week and was told the sup regs would be out by the weekend. just got me big 360 going in time for a little pre-70 action as well so this'll be my first time with 2 bikes.

They still require many hands for a tidy up this Sunday also (4th Nov) ;)
I have a job at Springwood first up 5am Sunday mornin' but if I can finish early enough I'd have everything onboard to drop in and do a bit on the way home. Then again I believe they have forecast storms so that could screw all plans royally  ::)
