I am located in NQ though , so freight cost might be an issue . The ‘88 NX 650 motor is probably a good choice for an adventure bike motor , as it has both electric start and a kickstarter .

The XR has Great chassis and the Domy motor has great cruising ability.
The Domy motor has a big stator so plenty of charge for battery and big lights.
That would be my direction.

Thanks for that, I intend on actually finishing my mega 185 project when I retire next year. Weight is critical so the stock 30mm toothpicks have to stay and im a bit over drilling and soldering .
