hey  mac  'do you know the requirements for the rear hubs?i understand the need for regs for motor /frame/suspension for pre 65 but find it a bit puzzling when when a pursang hub weight's  no less with no mechanical advantage over a cz or rickman and heaps of bsa's ran single hubs before that date,be they whatever 'just close's up another market, makes it that bit harder for the average bloke on a budget to get  into the class ,sorry if iam not up to speed yet on the subject. thanks

Hey mainline checked out the B-sang (nice little iron!)oil bottle 's a good setup but the bully must have more room to go lower(with bottle) than the beeza putting the bottom of the carb intake only 50mm above the bottle mount plate, would only hold a couple of litres. Was hoping to keep frame fairly original so will maybe have to keep bottle uprite as per the original setup. keep ya posted and thanks for the info (PS like the boyer ignition, bit exy though)

Yes doc does sound like a lot for a standard 250 but good ol' school tuners knew their stuff ( imagine how she would go on A ) i had a 370 mk 9 back in 76' (stock) that supposedly put out 42, very tractable power,a gem to ride.Got a mk5 iam building at the moment sure like to get 42 out of it but probably keep her fairly standard for reliability :)

Introductions / New Team

Hey Fella's, We're HuskiHoons (Father and Son Team). We are from Mid North Coast, NSW. Same story as probably a lot of you guy's. I Had and Raced bikes through the early to late seventies, Got out of them for a long time(other commitment's/goals etc.), About 5 years ago, My son found an old race picture and wanted to start riding. I didn't take much convincing. We love the simplicity of the old Iron's ( Classic MX, Dirttrack, Trials) and have got Bully's, Husky's, Suzuki's and BSA's in no particular order in various states of restoration. We're finding this site very informative and a bit of a crackup at times.  :) Cheers.
