The "N" model  was pretty much a C  or an A model cept for cosmetics so all mechanicals  should interchange.

OOh Graeme.
i think we  need to  something with the  decor on the  album page.
reminds me of my mum saying eat your vegies.
 Troubled childhood?   Monitor need  replacing?

Perhaps we  could suggest c1cdc1,838b83 and 000000

Pokey Breaks off a  few squares of chocolate and has a bit of a think.

Your right Tim. tis a big can of worms you have the tinopener stuck in  thats for sure.
The purists wil say segregation. the more open minded  will mention cohabitation the more avante guard will say something  entirely different.
ai a bit like the age restriction thang for riders  debate , should Young whipper snappers be allowed to ride VMX?

My thoughts say the sport is the main  point  to be considered not  a personal preference, ergo anything that can keep the  numbers  in the game has to be a good thing .
If the numbers you say  are in fact dwindling there is a reason , a summation or thought cant be used to make a decision but actual facts of why numbers are dwindling. then the trend perhaps can be  reversed or  atleast stem the tide.

Breaks off another hunk of chocolate  and flicks a wayward worm back in the can

yerp. look like stock RD350 mufflers  turned upside down, note the ding in the rear section to accomidate  the footpegs
Those tiny upswept headers  though look like they came of a CL175 twin.

No wonder no one wants the thing with the pipes. He probably thinks he did a good job cause it all fits. Imagine how it would go if it could breath

Introductions / 185aholic
« on: July 25, 2007, 10:18:10 pm »
Hi Im pokey and Im a 185aholic  and it has been  234 seconds since i caressed my last 185.
My  affliction started  in 1977 when i spied a 74 model at Frasers  in Taree NSW that i   bought for $385  and it had three months rego and a sock airfilter and occy straps holding the tank and seat in place.
That was the bike i  learnt to ride on  in the forests  aroiund Taree and  it was hosed off. (sometimes) and then took me 20 miles to work and 20 miles home  during the week at a cost of $1.18 a tank and at a speed of Ummm shhh i was only On L plates  :-[

Now I have the project 185 . Same year model and have kept the same colour silver paint and  will  hopefully see her racing in the pre 75 250's  in the not too distant future. OOhhh . Almost forgot she be  a wee bit modified from stock ;)

Now the man. Ive never ever raced organised MX in my life , just forest and the odd  enduro  with reasonable results  so will be a big learning curve for me. I'm sure you guys will get to know me  and the silver suzuki .
If you have pre  ER model 185 stuff thats surplus to your needs do let me know.

cheers.. Proud to be a 185aholic

depending on the  timing of the  data  it may  enjoy some loss  as this type of conversion aint  the best .
