Spaniards (Bultaco, Ossa, Montesa etc) / Bultaco Stuff

When my mate Simon found out I was doing a resto on s Sherpa T, he said: "I might have some bits and pieces for you!"

His first visit yielded a tank, Clymer manual and a couple of flywheel pullers.

He called again today, and said he had some more stuff to bring.  First items were a (never-been-worn) pair of Metro riding pants and cap:



And then a (Bultaco) plastic bag with a owners manual for an Alpina, complete with swing tickets, original sales receipt, keys and other stuff!



This has nothing to do with my Sherpa, but great history stuff anyway.

The rim decal on my front wheel is red on a gold background.  The decal on my back wheel is yellow on a silver background.

Is there a reason for this?  Does it mean something?

Hoping someone can help me!

I've just embarked on a resto of a Sherpa T (Mod #92).  These are the shocks that were on the bike.  I suspect they are not originals, but they appear to be serviceable, so I'll use them (for now at least).
They have a plastic/powder coated spring and the only markings I can find on them are HENCHE IN MEXICO (Made in Mexico.

Any suggestions?  Thanks.

11141-41650 (which is the list part for PE250N and NLA)

11141-41610 (which is list part for PE250B & C, which is still available)

I'm searching for a '76 Ts 250 magneto cover.  The one I have has a broken mounting tab (for the sprocket cover).

Trying to find a fork for my TS 250A.  One leg has siezed, and won't come apart.  Really only need one leg, but would appreciate any assistance if someone has a set they don't need.

Not too fussed about the condition of the cover, as long as the base and foam are serviceable.

Introductions / Hi there

Hi there!

I'm getting close to completing a resto on a 1979 PE 250 N and some of your members have suggested to get on here to discuss, ask and learn stuff.  So I have!  The plan is to trail ride it and run it in Vinduro events.

I have recently retired as the President of another Trailbike Club (forum) and see a number of names here that are familiar over 'our' way. I'm also registered on another bike forum where I have 'blogged' my bikes progress.  Many/most of those guys are here as well.  Cross-breeding of the types, I like that!

No doubt I will be chasing the same parts and info that other like minded Team Yellow members are, and hopefully someone here will be able to steer me in the right direction.  I hope to have the project back on the trails by Xmas, so in the mean time, I have to rely on my WRF 250 for fun!
