Tech Talk / Help Fork Modification

Just pulled some Marzocchi 40 mm forks apart and thay have a Aloy tube added to the top of the Damping Rod .
that is the small tube ( Center ) betwen the damping rod (right) and the large tube spacer ( left )..
when all togetter the fork still has full travel.. and No the small tube has not been hitting on the retain nut .
the small tube fits in side the large tube when fully compressed.
The Mod looks like it has been done very well . I say by a Suspenion shop ..
Do I relpace seals and leave it alone or remove the small tube and go back to stand ...

Vinduro / A.C.T Kowen Forest 2 Day Rained Out

The organisers of the 2014 Kowen Forest 2 day ride scheduled for this Saturday and Sunday the 12th and 13th of April have had to postpone the event due to local weather conditions.
"Unfortunately we have had no luck with the weather." A statement from the organisers read. "Due to circumstances beyond our control we have had to postpone the Kowen Forest 2 Day Ride which was to happen this weekend.
"We have had a large volume of rain fall over the area recently and with the further rain that is expected over next few days we have made the very difficult decision to postpone the event.
"The area where the ride is located is public land and we have to keep in mind the environmental damage an event of this type and size may cause.
"We apologise for any inconvenience this has caused however the weather is beyond our control."
At this stage organisers have not been able to supply a new date for the event but are hoping for it to be within the next couple of months.
The DSMRA website at http://www.dsmra.asn.au/ will be updated when further information comes to hand.

Slider and Leg bushes for 41.7 and 40
Slider bushes fit to the botom of the Slider ..
Leg bushes fit just below the seals .
Off a KTM 1982 to 1984 Normal forks

Vinduro / Who is Looking For a Ride Now that CD10 is not ON 28/29 september Vinduro ??

Hay Guys Now that CD10 is not on and I had the Friday and weekend off .
The wife planed a Girl weekend at home and I dont want to stay home for that ...
I was planing to run a Vinduro at Bulaahelah on the 23th /24th November with the Heaven Club so
I am thinking that we Run it on the weekend that CD10 was going to be it will no way be the same as CD10
but its a ride on ya old bike and could be a bit of fun So
Who is up for it .......... it will be at Bulahdelah and we will run it on the Vinduro loop but backwards .
We can use more of the grass track..
Need to get sume Commitment from at lest 30 riders to Get it going
