Has anybody beside that other website set up an auction?
The likes of this website could have a similar set up only if the bike/object is sold the percentage fee goes to the running of this website. Some basic rules like bidders have to be registered and have some history would need to be stated. The net based auction site has now taken off the buy it now option if a bid is made. Is it worth the hassle Graeme?

For Sale / 1978 DT250

Rough but complete silver tank DT, some surface rust on tank and frame. Chain and sprockets worn. Just on 16,000K's, Seat torn, has all lights and blinkers. Goes.

British (BSA, Greeves, Triumph etc) / Matchy interest?

A mate has happened apon some old pommie stuff and wants to get rid of some. The stuff he would like to rid himself of is a whole shipload of Matchy bits and pieces.
To start there are three engines in bits, a 1949 G3L competion, a 1950 model 80 competion and
a 1947 G80L. Four aluminium heads (three 500 one 350),there are two frames, both swing arm jampot by the look of them.
There is one complete gearbox (to suit the 350 I think) and a few in pieces, some new gearbox housings still in grease paper. Lotsa mags/dynamo's, hubs (front and back) Wheels, forks an stuff.
If there's any interest I could get a detailed list with piccies.

eBay Finds / Deni XT?

I was watching (Along with 900,983,998 other peeble) an XT500 being auctioned at Deni. It ran, was very rough lower K's and gearbox wasn't werkin. Had two days to run was starting to run aay price wise now it's disapeared. What's goen orn?

For Sale / Swap classic motorcycle transporter

Anybody interested in a classic XE? This fine machine has a 351, electronic dissy, stractors, 600 carter, recon FMX, slippery diff with rear discs. It also has a little rust, the heater doesn't work and it needs the handbrake seeing too, and it's not registered.
You could be the first in your town to brag that your ute uses more fuel than a Bradley Tank. You can drive to a Moto X smugly knowing you've used more fuel getting in from the gate than most used getting to the meet, from interstate. Big V8's are about as popular as they were in 1974, you remember the time they told us there was only enough fossil fuels left in the world for another thirty years? The only things changed is the price, they still say there's only enough fossil fuels left for thirty years. You could contribute to the worlds over use of the worlds limited supply of fossil fuels with this fine piece of machinery.
