 This MAXIMA RACING OILS CONONDALE CLASSIC is growing every year , come along and be apart of this great event . General Discussion / QVMX pratice weekend May the 21st and 22nd

Two day pratice weekend for mums, dads and the kids , camping allowed from Friday night . As per club rules kids under the age of 16 May ride modern bikes (no quads or trikes). 16 and over must ride vintage class bikes only . Ladies can ride modern bikes on all pratice days as well as vintage bikes. We are hopeing the enduro track will be open as well. We have the bottom track for those just starting out as well for the younger ones (parents must be with there kids over seeing riding at all times) we will have portable toilets on site . Competition / QVMX Championship Round 1 - Biddaddaba

Hi members, our next meeting are July the 5th and 6th and will be held at Biddadaba,

Saturday is practice only,

Juniors (under 16) and Women can ride moderns for Saturday practice.

Vinduro will be set up on Saturday as well as pee wee track.

Sunday is Round 1 of the club championship. Camping available from Friday night. Food available from Helen's van Saturday lunchtime through to Sunday afternoon. No dogs or tear offs.

Track Description:

Tabragalba (Biddaddaba) via Beaudesert is a great natural terrain grass track, wide and open with many surface variations and sweeping corners that are vintage friendly. Has been upgraded with a loamy sand mix of soil including re-shaping of track and construction of jumps.

Track Directions:

Located approx 10 mins South of Mundoolun

GPS Address: Spengler Road, Tabragalba, Queensland

Take the Beaudesert-Beenleigh Rd

Turn Left into Beaudesert-Nerang Rd

Turn right into Spengler Rd off Beaudesert-Nerang Rd

Turn Left at 1st Gate on Left (Entrance to Tabragalba (Biddaddaba) MX track)

Letting my nice kx go, it's had a new clutch ,flat slide carbie, sprockets and chain, gripper seat cover, fresh front fork oil and seals, new rear spokes, very good tyres front and rear, white power rear spring. I class the bike race ready nothing to spend. $3750 Ono bike will not disappoint .

Just a reminder our QVMX sign on weekend is this weekend 15th and 16th February and is held at Spengler Road Biddadaba.
Camping available both Friday and Saturday nights.

Juniors and ladies can ride vintage or modern
Senior Men(16+) vintage only up to and including Pre90.

Ride fees are
Senior $30 a day or $50 for 2 days.
Junior $10 per day

Licences available if required are $25 which cover riders for both days.

General Meeting will be held on Saturday 15th at the lunch break.

Food van will be there for your convenience lunch and early dinner Saturday and Breakfast and lunch on Sunday.

General Discussion / Carby's 1984 KX 500

hi have posted this for a club member any assistance would be great,,,,
Can anyone verify which model flat slide carburettors are eligible for the Pre ‘85 VMX class.
My bike is a 1984 KX 500 which has a worn out Mikuni “TM” carb fitted. When I asked a supplier for a price on a replacement, he suggested that I use a Keihin “PWK” instead. However, he could not confirm whether it would comply with the GCR’s which state that “period flat slide carburettors can be used”.
If anybody knows for sure which model of carbs are eligible, be it Mikuni TM/TMX, Keihin PJ/PWK or whatever else there may be, I would much appreciate the feedback.
 
As I’m sure you could appreciate, I don’t want to invest in some thing that will be turned away at a National meeting or give Scrutineers headaches.

Competition / QVMX SIGN ON WEEKEND

QVMX sign on weekend is next weekend 25th and 26th February. We will be starting our sign on at 7am Saturday morning. Our General meeting will be starting at 8.30am Saturday morning.


The food van will be arrriving early Saturday and will be staying late into the afternoon for anyone wishing to buy burgers for dinner.

Camping available from the Friday night toilet facilities available.

Ladies and juniors can ride modern bikes, senior men(over 16) vintage only.

Senior ride fees $20 each day
Junior ride fees  $10 each day

Licences if required $20 for weekend
