Did you remove rag from intake before fitting filter?  A mate carted his bike 100 km to a bike shop to find that one. A bit embarrassed!

  Good to see a young fella having a crack.
Can recommend Canowindra, top weekend. I'm in Parkes and have some old IT 175 forks and shock that might help with your DT project, no cost. Also mate has a tidy 86 XR 600 for sale if you are interested. Check PMs.

Looking at what looks like a MX 400 B which the guy is telling me is a rare, limited run of 500cc prototypes made by yamaha. Engine number 574-000323, frame number 509-007392 and 5000 cast in bottom left of barrel.
   Has anyone heard of anything like this or is he full of it. Any info would be much appreciated.

looks exactly the same as standard frame, no idea on swingarm brand or forks, triples.
     
  Not a bad price though, better if it was in oz.
