Advertising this bike for a mate:

For sale 1996 Honda CR250. Full ground up restoration. Strengthened frame on underside.  Wiseco engine rebuild kit. Pro circuit rear pipe, new chain & sprockets, front & rear brake pads. All new bearings throughout wheels, swing amrs, steering etc. Full plastics kit & graphics. New seat cover (not shown in photo). $3000 ono.

This bike could be returned back to stock appearance very easily, or even very easy conversion to a Mcgrath replica.

G'day people, I have an '84 XR200 that I am trying to get going.  This is the model with the RFVC head and twin carb, the same as the '84-'85 XR/XL250..  What I am after is the two rocker arms on the LHS of the engine, furthest away from the cam chain.  I am led to believe that this is a common weak point on this model, so someone must have an old head or at least the rocker cover with the same symptoms, the rocker arms are interchangeable from left to right, so if you have a head or cover with two good rocker arms, I'd like to buy it!

Hi guys, I have most of a "98+ RMX250 (ADR'd version) which I am parting out.

This is the model with the decent conventional forks.

I have everything you can see in these pics, plus the CDI, wiring harness, reg/rectifier, air box, reed block and carb.





The bike (parts) is located in Townsville, NQ.

I take it they are not a matching set mate?  Eg 3.5 x 19 seems like a rear wheel size for a big bike?  and 1.85 x 17 a front for a little bike?

Are you sure the australian '81 pee wees were yellow?

You're not gonna find a yellow one in Aus mate, or at least its gonna be extremely unlikely

There are definitely a few around, a bloke has PM'd me pics of one he is restoring, and there is a guy on Gumtree with a 1982 model that he is chasing parts for.  They were yellow for the first 3 years, 1981, 1982 and 1983.  The decals on the tank changes slightly year to year.
 
Wether they were released here or not is a different question,  does anyone actually know the answer?

The 1983 PW80's (first year of the 80) were yellow too, but I haven't seen one in Australia...

Maybe we didnt get PW's here until 1984?  If that's the case, I'll just import one, they seem to be plentiful in the US.  Actually, that's probably the easiest option in any case...
