Hi Hardo
Good to hear you were able to find what you wanted . Just thought I could keep your search local. I feel after talking to this bloke that his bike isn't forsale but we all know there is only one way to determine that for sure. Anyone else interested in his contact details, PM me

hello Hardo
Contact info forwarded is good but I'm told its not for sale. Bike is 78 A4 twin shock model not A5, trail ridden never raced. Was cheap runout deal, dealer couldn't sell after the release of Uni- trak model. Its Ok for you to ring but it sounds like it will be a costly process, if it happens

Hello Hardo
A few years ago I bought a CRF out of the local paper . The bloke had a A5 in great condition parked beside it. His story went along the lines that he purchased it new from Central Coast Motorcycles but never got into riding it. I can't say if he still has it, if the bike's forsale or even if he is still on the coast. but if you want a crack at hunting this one down, PM me.

KDX250C 83 30 spline OD about 15mm. Kickstarter will require a threaded shaft to attach and should be the same as KX250C.

Yes Hardo, that's me. I picked up another Pre85 project, so I didn't chase you about the tank. Let me know if the new stator doesn't work out.

Hi Hardo
If you 're still chasing a stator, I should be able to help. I'm located at Bensville, SE of Gosford

I had heard the frame were basically the same for a few models, just didn't know which ones. I didn't know about the material upgrade in the E models, thanks Iain. I'll arrange some photo today.
Thanks all for the input

Wanted / '77 YZ frame
« on: May 07, 2013, 06:14:34 am »
Hi all
I'm chasing a YZ400D frame or anything the same. A damaged frame with a good back section where seat and rear mudguard mount would be OK. I'm interested in any or all that is available. Located on the NSW Central Coast and will be at the Heaven's 2nd round at Canberra all going to plan.
Thanks Michael

Suzuki / Re: RM80 frame id
« on: January 09, 2012, 08:33:27 am »

The frame number on my young bloke's latest project is RC11C-******. It being watercooled with a Full Floater rear ended RM80. Going by the Part Listing, it was much the same for the models from 1983 to 1985. I believe 1982 model had the same frame and crankcase with the aircooled top end. I read somewhere that Suzuki changed the frame number prefix style with the new design, but I can't remember where. Try Googling your number, I'm pretty sure that's all I did. I hope this helps, Micheal

I have a YZ125 crank, rod marked 1WI. Bigend is not good, will require a rod kit. It's yours if you pick it up or make an offer if you want me to post it. I'm located NSW Central Coast. If you don't require it, pass this offer on

Thanks Hardo
I was looking at a gearcase on ebay. Couldn't work out what model it was, so I let it go. Number was hard to make out even in the close up photo, it may have been restamped.  With the hassels I've had buying 2nd hand on the net, I don't get involved anymore without being 100% sure. I'll hang on to your info. for future reference. thanks again Mike
