Or, you could race/ride in Victoria, in the VCM series.
MA licence is $330 for the year.  To enter each round is $60.
you have a bike, you turn up, you ride.  Lots of fun, no hassles.

What kind of races are you guys going to that there's politics & hassles that would make you not ride???

Not sure what you mean about too much politics, you'll have to explain that one, but too many rules???
What rules do you think we need to get rid of to make it fun again?

I have a pair on my TM125 & have only been out on them twice so far.
They look extremely well made & how the came delivered, they work really, really well.
I've have just ordered a set of piggybacks for my 77 RM125.
Each set was a little bit more than $900.
But, it's only money. They keep telling me you can't take with you.

Just a small error with the name of the club hosting the event.

All credit for the work leading up to the weekend & everything that went into the event, goes to Scrambling Victoria Inc. and the Ararat MCC.
An excellent three days of riding & racing.

You may want to lower the needle clip to richen it up not raise it.

Both RM125 A / B triple clamps are different to the TM250 ones, as well as the forks.
The RM125 A fork may differ only on one side but it’s still different to the TM250 forks.

If you’re going race it, don’t fit any RM triple clamps or forks to your Pre 75 bike.
They're easy to spot & you’ll just bring out the protests.

i'm pretty sure the rear top shock mounts are slightly forward on the "75" model.

It looks to me that it’s the right one but your old one is hammered.
The spline on the new one is all square & straight but on the old one the spline isn’t nice & sharp, all the faces of the spline angle out.

« on: August 04, 2016, 09:46:28 pm »
You can remove the oil slinger, but you should replace it with a smaller diameter washer of the same thickness.
That’s just to keep everything in the same place it belongs.
You can also remove the oil slingers mating part from the bearing. It’s not needed if there’s no slinger.

Tech Talk / Re: RM125A/B Gearing Advice
« on: August 28, 2015, 06:13:19 pm »
Standard for the RM125M is 60T,  RM125A is 57T & RM125B is 59T.
51/52T would be like adding 2 teeth to the front sprocket. Not a good idea, probably a typo.
It was probably meant to be 61/62T.
51/52T would save you gears as you'd only use 1st & 2nd but fry your clutch to hell just to get it moving. hahaha

It fits with the cup towards the outside, away from the bearing. It's loose and there's a gap around the outside & when you remove the axle, it falls out.
There's no seal only the ones on the bearings. As you said "it does not 'seem right" but that's how they designed it.
The same design is used for the TM125,250,400, RM125A,B,C & a lot more.
